Call out for artists to apply for the second round of the Auto Amor Project.
Selected artists will show their works alongside 99 other artists in a group exhibition in October at The Art House, London.
The Art House by Acrylicize provides project, studio, and event space, all to nurture and amplify contemporary arts and culture, with a dynamic public programme spanning visual arts, performance, film, literature, music, and artist residencies.
As homage to the history of artists swapping works, our aim is to get artists to make work, exhibit it, and go home with someone else’s artwork.
How it works:
Apply to take part, form below, Deadline midnight 11th September.
Selected artists will each receive a 24 x 30cm acrylic gesso-primed artboard - Kindly sponsored by Constantine Fine art Logistics.
Create your artwork and send it back to us.
We’ll install a group show of up to 100 anonymous works in London at The Art House this October. 30-36 Pritchard’s Lane. E2 9AP.
On the night of the show, we’ll spin the tombola / bingo machine 🎱 — each artist draws a number that matches an artwork on the wall. That’s the piece you’ll take home.
After the draw, there’ll be an hour to have a drink, meet people, and trade the number you received if you’d prefer a different artwork — making the night as much about connection as exchange.
No limits, except one: your art lives on a 24cm x 30cm panel which we will send out to you.
This project is for the sake of making— a chance to be unfiltered and try something new, network with a community of artists & to take home a unique piece of work.
Artworks are displayed for one night Pop-up exhibition & you will take one home with you at the end of the night.
