While London’s art world orbits around Frieze, Auto Amor Project offers a quieter counterpoint. Vol.2, on 10 October at The Art House by Acrylicize, is an evening shaped entirely around artists — their work, their networks, their exchange.
Auto Amor began in 2025 in a converted car mechanic’s workshop in Sevenoaks. Since then, it has grown into a platform for residencies, exhibitions and events that experiment with how art is shown and shared beyond conventional gallery systems.
For Vol.2, 100 new works will be displayed anonymously. At 7:30pm, a live tombola staged by Filthy Fox Auction Club (filthyfoxauctionclub.com) will reallocate them, ensuring every participating artist leaves with another’s work. No sales, no hierarchies — just the simple act of artists exchanging art.
Alongside its growing commercial programme, Auto Amor runs projects that remain deliberately non-commercial. Vol.2 is one of these: a space that prioritises exchange, encounter and community, where value lies not in transaction but in connection.
