Tides is an open call inviting artists to respond to coastlines, estuaries, harbours, beaches, cliffs, mudflats and the shifting boundary where sea reaches land.

Opening in Margate and continuing at Auto Amor HQ in Sevenoaks, this exhibition seeks contemporary responses to the coastal landscape in all its forms.

From vast horizons to intimate observations, container ships to rock pools, sea defences to salt marshes, Tides explores the places where water and earth continually reshape one another.

We welcome submissions from artists working on an Auto Amor 2026 board across painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, printmaking & mixed media.

Opening exhibition in Margate at the studio of Charlie Evaristo-Boyce.

Following Margate

Selected works will travel to Auto Amor HQ in Sevenoaks, Kent, extending the exhibition and introducing the work to a second audience.
