MEET THE TEAM

Tom Winstanley is the founder and director of Auto Amor and is based at the Auto Amor Studio in Shoreham. He works closely with artists in the studio, developing projects, producing Auto Amor boards, and hosting retreats and hands-on sessions.

Tom’s focus is on the making side of the project- creating physical spaces and simple structures that support artists to work, experiment, and connect outside traditional routes.

Miya Kosowick is an artist and curator who leads Auto Amor’s exhibitions programme across the UK. She develops partnerships with galleries and alternative spaces, curates exhibitions, and works with artists from open call through to installation.

Miya’s focus is on the programmes and exhibitions side of Auto Amor - building connections between artists, curators, venues, and audiences, and shaping exhibitions that centre collaboration and community.

CALLING FREELANCE CURATORS

Auto Amor is growing rapidly & we want to start working relationships with freelance curators, particularly ones outside of London. Below is a small, but significant project to help us connect.

Auto Amor is seeking freelance curators to lead pop-up AUTO AMOR PROJECT exhibitions in artist-led, non-traditional, or temporary venues. Each project includes a month-long online Artsy presentation prior to a one-off in-person event, with a possible closing artist swap.

We provide full support to make your project happen, including the open call format, marketing, installation, and de-installation. A curator fee will be paid for securing and collaborating with us to deliver the pop up show.

If you have a strong idea for a space where an Auto Amor project could shine and want to curate the show, we’d love to hear from you.
